McQuaid, Brian - R.I.P. 21A Crieve Court, Newry and formerly of Ardoyne, Belfast. 12th December 2025, peacefully at home under the care of his loving family.

Beloved husband of Terri, devoted father of Shonagh (Paul) and Ciaran (Jenny), loving Granda Bobby to Holly, Meghan, Saoirse, Eva, Callan, Rian, Cianan and Caitlan; predeceased by his mother Julia, his brother Ted and his sister Julie.

Brian’s remains will repose at his home. Friends and family are welcome tomorrow (Tuesday 16th December) and Wednesday (17th December) between 2pm and 8pm each day. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 12.30pm on Thursday (18th December) in St. Catherine’s church, Newry followed by burial in Monkshill cemetery. The Requiem Mass will be livestreamed and may be viewed online using the link below.

Very deeply regretted by his loving wife, son, daughter, grandchildren, sisters Anne, Maureen and Chris and the extended family circle.

May he rest in peace.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Happiness Cafes, Kilkeel and Evora Hospice c/o the donations box in the home.
