The death has occurred of:
Brian Melarkey
The family of the late Brian Melarkey, 98 Derrin Park, Cornagrade, Enniskillen, wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with us on our recent and sudden bereavement.
We are deeply grateful to our kind relatives. Brian had a special circle of friends that stayed by our sides on the days following Brian’s passing for this we can’t thank them enough. For all who called at the house, brought food, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and messages of support and attended the wake and funeral, or joined via webcam. Your kindness and generosity have been a great comfort to us at this difficult time.
Special thanks to all Brian’s work colleagues from Tulsa Cavan, Sligo and Castleblaney.
Our sincere thanks to all the medical, nursing and allied health professionals. Both in the hospitals and community for looking after Brian in such a caring and professional manner.
To the staff of Holy Trinity Primary School for their messages, phone calls, their support was so heartfelt, their guard of honour as we passed on the day of the funeral. Thank you. All your support was greatly appreciated.
To all Brian’s golf family, the support was overwhelming. Thank you to Castlehume Golf Club for their guard of honour at the Church. To all from Blacklion Club, calling at the house.
A very special thank you to Fr. Seamus Quinn for the insightful way he celebrated Brian’s life through the Requiem Mass, with such love and prayerfulness. A special word of thanks also to Fr. Dessie Corrigan who concelebrated the Mass and also to Fr. Brian Darcy. To the Eucharist Minister's on the day and Mark for helping with the live stream. We would also like to thank Aveen and Thomas Owens for the beautiful singing and music at Brian’s funeral. Thank you.
To the gravediggers who prepared Brain's final resting place in Cross Cemetery, Tom who tastefully lined the grave and surrounding area with flowers, the funeral directors Pat Blake Group for their professional way they carried out their duties.
Thanks to the staff from The Westville and Magee’s for refreshments after the service.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.
