The death has occurred of:
Bridget Hassan
We, the family of the late Bridget Hassan wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt gratitude to all those who sympathised and supported us through our recent and sad bereavement. Thank you to everyone who attended the Funeral Home, wake and Funeral Mass, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and letters, brought food and placed flowers on the grave.
A special word of thanks to Father McGirr for his spiritual care and support shown to our mother in recent times and throughout her short illness and celebrating the Requiem Mass, which was a fitting tribute to her long life.
Our thanks also to Father Colhoun, who called to our home and the chapel to pray for our mother. Thank you to all who read during the Mass and to Clodagh and Isla for their beautiful singing.
Sincere thanks to Seamus, Deborah and all the team at McLaughlin Funeral Directors for the professional, caring and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Thank you also to Shane McLaughlin for preparing the grave and to Margaret the sacristan and the ladies in the Parish Hall for serving up the lovely refreshments after the Mass.
A special word of thanks to all those who cared for our mother over the years and in her last days: Dr Knox, Dr Byrne, the nurses and the staff of Feeny Medical Practice, Feeny Pharmacy and Claudy district nurses. We extend a sincere thanks to Dr Todd and the Hospital at Home team, who provided such care and attention to our mother during her short illness. A special thank you also to Grainne who cared for our mother weekly over the past four and half years with such kindness and dedication.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Bridget’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 29th of November at 7pm in Saint Joseph’s Church, Fincairn.
