Bridget Hallford

On behalf of the extended Hallford family, we would like to express our heart felt gratitude and thanks to everyone for the kindness and support that we have been shown over the last few weeks since the passing of our beloved partner and Mother Bridget Hallford.

To our aunts and uncles and cousins, honestly, you help us find the strength and courage to get through one of the toughest, darkest times of our lives as a family, even thought you had lost your own sister. You showed us how to be strong enough to give a small lady, with a heart, as big, and as warm as the sun, the farewell she deserved.

To all her Nieces and Nephews, their partners and children thank you all for the kindness, love and comfort you have given us. We will never forget all the words of support, but also the love and affection each and every one of you had for her. We are truly amazed how one small lady could have such an impact on so many lives. We are so proud to have, and be part off a group of people that really know the meaning of family, and we have sure felt that this week.

Thank you to all our friends and neighbour's who called to the house with cards, flowers and nothing but love for her.

We would also like to send a special thanks to all the girls who kept the kitchen going Auntie Maggie, her daughters Liz and Margaret, Theresa and her daughters Rose and Katrina, it really did not go unnoticed, thanks you all.

To Pio and Tom McClay we cannot thank you both enough for all the food you both took to the house, it was very much appreciated thank you both.

To Denise Nicell McCauley, our neighbour and life long friend, for taking time to go to the funeral parlour to make mammy beautiful to come home to us, thank you so much.

And also our cousin, Rose Doherty, of Garden Vogue Flowers, who went above and beyond to create some of the must beautiful flower arrangements, at such short notice, thank you,

To everyone who took part in the funeral mass, from those who did the readings, took up the gifts and played the wonderful music, it helped make the mass very special, thank you.

To Bridget and Ernest thank you for being there for her when she was going for treatment and a special thanks to Bridget for all she has done.

To Dr Molloy and all the staff at Quayside Medical for all the care and support they gave Bridget over the years it was greatly appreciated thank you.

Fr Sean, thank you, you where a great support to our mum, your faith and guidance was always appreciated by our mother, and she felt a certain comfort when you would visit, God bless you.

We also would like to thank Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors for everything, they took care of us through this sorrowful time and gave us a final few days to say good bye to her without worry and stress.

Thank you to each and everyone of you, for everything you have done for our wee family, as it would be impossible to thank you all individually please accept this as a token of our gratitude and I suppose all that is left to say, and to steal wee Bridget's words is - God bless you all, and Bye for now.

Bridget's Month's Mind Mass will be offered in St. Brigid's Church, Carnhill on Thursday 14th September at 6pm. All welcome.
