Bridget Simpson (née McGrath)

We the family of Bridget (Bridie) Simpson, wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who sympathised with us following the death of our much-loved mother, sister and grandmother. Thank you to all who took the time to come to the wake or funeral. To all who sent mass and sympathy cards, letters, and flowers and who brought food to the house, thank you for your generous support. To those who made donations to the Dementia NI charity in lieu of flowers we appreciate the support you are providing to other people suffering from dementia. To all our friends and colleagues who provided us with loving, caring, supportive words through this difficult time. To those who were a constant presence throughout the wake, organising and directing aspects to ensure the smooth reception of mourners to the house. A special word of thanks to Fr Conor McConville for his beautiful funeral service and the pastoral care he provided, and to both Fr Andrew McMahon and Fr Charlie Byrne for assisting. A word of thanks to Maria McGrath and Martin Daly for the wonderful music that accompanied Mum on her final journey. To the Doctors and staff of Scarva Street Surgery, who worked with Mum over many years managing her illness. Also, we are forever grateful to the care provided to Mum by both the Trust Acute Care and Domiciliary Care teams. Thank you to Charles Digney & Sons funeral undertakers who provided an excellent service, delivered with care and compassion, empathy, and professionalism throughout. Finally, thank you everyone involved in the Guard of Honour from Clanna Banna CLG.
We sincerely hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere thanks and appreciation as it would be impossible to thank everyone individually for their support.
A Month’s Mind mass will be held on Sunday 30th of November at 10am in St Patricks Church, Loughbrickland.

Forever grateful, the Simpson Family.
