Month’s Mind and Acknowledgement
For the late Bridie Cross
The family of the late Bridie Cross wish to express our deepest and most sincere appreciation to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who sympathised with and supported us following our recent bereavement.
We are grateful to everyone who called at the house, brought food, sent Mass and sympathy cards, attended the wake and funeral or helped us in any way during this difficult time. Your kindness and support have been a great comfort and will always be remembered.
A very special word of thanks to all of mammy’s carers, who treated her with so much dignity, patience and warmth. Their professionalism, kindness, compassion and empathy meant so much to all the family and will never be forgotten.
A special word of thanks to Fr. Patrick Lagan for his kindness, pastoral care and for celebrating the Requiem Mass, and to Father Canny for attending the house.
Our sincere thanks to Annemarie Hickey and Aidan Watkins for providing the beautiful singing and music during the Requiem Mass.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors for their professionalism, organisation, care and guidance throughout the funeral arrangements.
Our sincere thanks also to Father Steven Gorman and McElwee Funeral Directors for arranging interment at Milford Cemetery. Also thanks to the Mulroy Woods Hotel for dinner after the funeral.
As we remember our Mammy Bridie with love, we take great comfort from the kindness, prayers and support shown to our family by so many.
Bridie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 19th August at 7.30pm in St. Columb’s Church, Waterside, Derry, BT47 2BB.
May she rest in peace.
