Acknowledgement.
Bridie Hagan,
Fintona, Co Tyrone.
Died 8th November 2025.
We, the family of the late Bridie, wish to extend our deep gratitude and warmest thanks to everyone who offered their condolences, prayers, and support during our recent sad bereavement. Bridie was a widely respected lady, devoted wife of the late Tony. Adored mother of Ann-Marie and Joseph, mother in law of Nicholas, much loved grandmother of Eoin, Mark, Chloe and Aidan, and a very dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend.
Thank you to everyone who called to the Wake in Grianan House Funeral Home, helped or brought food, this was greatly appreciated. Our thanks also to those who sent Mass or Sympathy cards, messages, flowers or donations in lieu, lined the funeral route and to those who joined us at the Requiem Mass.
We are blessed to have had the love and support of our family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues, throughout this difficult time, this has helped us in so many ways to grieve and find strength together as a family.
A special word of thanks to Very Rev. Father Seán Mulligan P.P for his spiritual support and the very comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, and our singer Donna Taggart and accompanist Rory who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Tommy for preparing Bridie’s final resting place. Also to Roisin of Nettles and Petals for the beautiful floral tributes, and to Tony in Fintona Golf Club for providing the most welcome refreshments after the burial.
And finally, we send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to all the health care professionals who helped care for Bridie especially; the staff of Ward 8, South-West Acute Hospital. We are so very grateful for all your care, help and assistance and for the kindness shown to our mum.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Bridie is loved and missed every day. May her gentle, generous, kind soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Saturday 6th December at 6pm. St. Faustina pray for her.
