The death has occurred of:
Bridie Melarkey
We the family of the late Bridie Melarkey wish to express our heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation to all those who offered sympathy following our recent sad and sudden bereavement.
Our sincere thanks to all her kind family, neighbours and friends, those who attended the wake, Funeral Mass, sent Mass cards, Sympathy cards, messages of support, phoned, brought food to the wake and those who helped out during the wake. Your kindness, generosity and support have been a great comfort to us. With special mention to Mums cherished friends, Noreen, Angela and Carmel.
To the staff and pupils of Holy Trinity Primary School for all their support and guard of honor. Thank you. A word of thanks to all the medical and nursing staff for their professional care to mum during her many hospital admissions and especially to the CCU staff, SWAH, for their care, kindness and support in her last few hours.
A very special thank you to Fr. Seamus Quinn for the meaningful way he celebrated Bridie’s life through her Requiem Mass with such prayerfulness and compassion. We also want to thank Aveen and Tommy Owens for the beautiful reflective singing and music and to Alexis for preparing the church. Thanks to Tom Brady for preparing Bridie’s grave.
Thank you also to the gravediggers who prepared Bridie’s final resting place in Cross Cemetery and to the funeral directors, the Pat Blake group, for the professional way they carried out their duties. Also thank you to the Cassidy Group for providing refreshments during the wake and after Mums funeral.
