The family of Bridie Walsh (RIP) wish to express sincere thanks, gratitude and appreciation to everyone who sympathised and provided support during our recent bereavement.We shall be forever grateful to all who attended the wake, Funeral Mass, burial, called to the house, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, & flowers, letters, social media posts and all the many messages of condolences received. A special word of thanks to our exceptional family, extended relatives, friends, neighbours and wider community who helped during the wake providing marquee facilities, equipment, food, refreshments along with preparing the house before, during and after the wake. We would also like to acknowledge everyone who paid their respects as Bridie’s funeral cortege made its journey through Carrickmore. Our deepest gratitude to Fr Peter McAnenly for his spiritual support to Bridie in her final days and for the comforting funeral Mass celebrating Bridie’s life. We further extend our heartfelt thanks to all who participated in the funeral Mass, carrying out the Role of Sacristan, Alter Servers, Readers, Prayers of the Faithful, Offertory Procession, Eucharistic Ministers and the beautiful music provided by the singer and musicians. A most special word of thanks to FMC Funeral Services Ltd undertakers for their dignifed and sensitive professionalism throughout and to the grave digger who prepared Bridie’s final place of rest. To all the staff of The Charm Inn, thank you for the wonderful funeral dinner and your friendly service on the day. The family would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the kind, compassionate care and support shown by the Carers, District nurses, Marie Curie nurses, all Medical staff, Family and Friends that supported Bridie throughout, particularly in her final days. To all who assisted in any other way for your help, support and guidance we are beyond grateful.

May Bridie’s gentle and kind soul rest in peace.

Bridie’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Colmcille’s Church, Carrickmore on Sunday 19th October 2025 at 11.30am.
