Brigid Teresa McCreesh (née McParland)
We the family of the late Brigid Teresa McCreesh wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. We would like to thank our families, friends and neighbours for their support and prayers during mum’s illness and at the time of the wake and funeral. Also, thanks to those who sent messages of condolence, mass or sympathy cards and to those who attended the wake and funeral.
We would like to thank all those who worked tirelessly around the house on the day before and during the wake. A special thank you to those who brought food and to those who served refreshments.
We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to Fr Emlyn McGinn for his spiritual support to mum over the years and for a very meaningful and uplifting requiem mass.
We gratefully thank the staff of Mullaghbawn & Crossmaglen GP Surgery, Karen and the staff of Mullaghbawn Pharmacy, the staff of Cullyhanna Pharmacy, all the medical and nursing staff at both Daisy Hill and Craigavon Hospital who supported us to care for mum over the past years. We would also like to thank the support from the district nursing and palliative care team for their dedicated care and kindness during our time of need.
Thank you to Dearbhla and Terry for the beautiful music and singing at mum’s funeral. We would also like to thank James and Gary of Murlan House for the beautiful floral arrangements.
Finally thank you to Aisling and Seamus Murray, Funeral Directors, for their support and guidance and the dignified manner in which they conducted the wake and funeral arrangements.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our deep appreciation.
The Months Mind Mass for Brigid Teresa McCressh will be on Saturday 31st January 2026 @ 6.30pm in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church Aughanduff.
