The family of Brigid wish to express our deepest appreciation, and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported and helped us during our recent bereavement. Your sympathy, support, love and kindness have not gone unnoticed, and we will forever be thankful.
We are grateful beyond words firstly to our extended family, to mums’ friends, and neighbours. You surrounded us with love, and support in countless ways during the wake and funeral. You blessed us with comfort in time of need, even though you grieve with us. Thank you.
To all who brought food, helped with tea, visited the wake house, attended the funeral, flowers, mass cards and sympathy cards, and for the hundreds and hundreds of messages we have received personally and on social media. We have been overwhelmed with gratitude for your support. It truly brought home to us how much she meant to so many people, and we are thankful beyond words.
A special thanks go to Fr Alwill and his concelebrant Fr. Brian D’Arcy for a beautiful, personal, and fitting homily and funeral mass. All musical accompaniments were family members, and family meant so much to her. We are so thankful Ally and Marian, her granddaughters Natalie and Erin, and Gabriel Mc Ardle for adding such a wonderful, personal touch to her final farewell. Our heartfelt thanks to the readers, and gift bearers, too.
We also extend our thanks to the lovely community in Clachan Court, where she felt so at home. To the coffee morning ladies, and the knitting club, you made her years in Clachan Court so enjoyable, sociable, and a highlight of her week. A special thank you to Catherine McManus, who helped in so many ways. Thank you also for the use of the Centre after the funeral, helping with refreshments, and the days following.
Thank you also to Tully Mill, for doing a wonderful job as always in providing the food for the funeral refreshments.

To Eoin Murphy and helpers for digging the grave on a frosty week, a special thanks.
And to Patrick Blake for his professional, sympathetic, and dignified manner in which he oversaw her funeral arrangements, we cannot thank you enough.
Finally, it is impossible to name everyone who is owed a word of thanks individually, but you are in our hearts, and we extend a very special thank you to you all. We hope you will accept this as an acknowledgement of our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to you all.
Mums Months Mind Mass will be held on Saturday 7th February at 11am, in St. Ninnidh’s Church, Derrylin.
