Carole MCKINLAY

McKinlay (formerly Hillis née Nelson) - Carole Margarita (1942 - 2026), dearly loved wife of Arthur, 4 Beckett Park, Ballymoney, much loved mother of Gary (Pauline), Paul and the late Grace, stepmother of Jonathan (Audrey) and Marc devoted Granny Carole to eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren, very dear sister of Christine, sister-in-law of Mike and a very dear aunt.

Arthur and the extended family circle have been overwhelmed by the support and sympathy they have received since Carole's death. To all who sent their condolences and thoughts in the form of visits, cards, letters, emails and telephone calls, everyone who attended the Service of Thanksgiving and donated to Alzheimer's Society, we simply say a very humble and grateful thank you.

However, special mention and thanks must be extended to the manager and staff of Bohill House Nursing Home for their loving devotion and care over the last two years.

Also the many agencies, hospitals and staff at both Northern and Western H.S.C. Trusts, latterly the Mountsandel Health Centre and previously the Country Medical Centre who cared for Carole's every need.

Rev. Campbell Mulvenny over the last five years for his regular visits, prayers and spiritual encouragement, culminating in his tribute to Carole at the Thanksgiving Service.

The Session and Committee of Dervock Presbyterian Church for the use of Church premises and all their help, prayers, guidance and support. Also, Caroline McConaghie for playing the organ.

Iris's Farmhouse Cuisine for supplying and serving tea in the hall after the service.

Finally, our most sincere thanks to D.J.M. Robinson & Son, our funeral directors, for their advice and the professional manner in which they carried out all the arrangements.

We hope this acknowledgement will be received by all as a token of our thanks. It is also a reflection of the esteem you are all held in by this family.

Arthur McKinlay and family.
