Caroline (Carol) HUNTER

Hunter – Caroline (Carol), 24th April 2026, peacefully, at hospital, following a sudden short illness, her loving family by her side, late of Brookfield Drive, Ballywalter.

Only child of the late Samuel and Caroline Patterson, beloved wife of the late Leslie, devoted mum of her three daughters Karen, Paula and Gillian, cherished nanny of her five grandchildren Craig (Laura), Gareth (Claire), Scott (Georgia), Carly and Thomas, doting great-nanny of Lilly, Hudson, Ellie, Aria, Grayson, Bobby, Mia and another little great-granddaughter soon to be born, a dear cousin and loyal friend to many.

A Service of Thanksgiving for Carol’s life will be held at 11.00 am on Thursday 30th April 2026 in Holy Trinity Parish Church, Ballywalter, followed by committal in Whitechurch Cemetery at 12 noon.

Attendees are welcome to wear bright colours and everyone is warmly invited to join Carol’s family afterwards for refreshments in the Parochial Hall.

House strictly private.

Family flowers only please.

Donations in memory of Carol, if desired, may be made payable to Make a Wish Foundation (UK) at www.adairfuneraldirectors.co.uk, a charity close to Carol’s heart.

Carol will be so sadly missed but so lovingly remembered.

Re-united with her beloved Leslie.
