On the 28th of September 2026 Caroline passed on to the next life. We have lost her physical form but we carry her with us every day in what we do, say and how we treat the people around us. We are thankful for the time we had with Caroline and remember her friendship, kindness, calmness, sense of fun and especially her beautiful smile.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, sent mass cards or called with us to offer their condolences and share their lovely memories of Caroline.

Thanks is not enough to the friends, neighbours and family who helped throughout the wake, during and after the funeral. Your kindness and generosity is a shining example of community.  We appreciate all of you who came and helped in any way, unseen and without expectation. We are truly grateful and humbled.

Thank you Father Hannigan for a beautiful celebration of Caroline's life. You came to us, listened, got a sense of who Caroline was and her wishes, and delivered a beautiful, heartfelt service.

Thank you Father O'Dwyer and Father Pat McCrory for your pastoral care and understanding when Caroline was planning the funeral.

Thank you to those who took part in the mass; sacristan, gift carriers, readers, altar servers and Eucharistic ministers.

Thank you to undertakers Paudge and Eoin Quinn for your professionalism and support throughout. You helped us navigate everything with a calmness, kindness and understanding.

Thank you to Damian Cullen, Micky Owens and Andrew Masterson for the music throughout the ceremony. We asked for reflective, thoughtful and uplifting and you delivered over and above our expectations.

Thank you to Altamuskin  Community Centre for the use of the hall for the refreshments after the funeral and to the Team from Quinns Corner for providing the food for everyone.

Thank you to those who cared for Caroline, the Doctors and Nurses of Carrickmore Health Centre, Northwest Cancer Centre, District Nurses, Foyle Hospice Nurses,  Marie Curie and the staff of Paul Tallon Chemist for your exceptional treatment of Caroline throughout her illness.

A special word of appreciation goes to Care For Cancer Omagh and Termonmaguirc Cancer Patients Comfort Fund for their support of Caroline throughout her illness.

Please understand that we are so grateful for all the support we have received over the wake and funeral. If we have missed someone, it is unintentional.

The Months Memory Mass will be held on Friday 30th October at 7pm in Saint Marys Dunmoyle, followed by refreshments in the Altamuskin Community Centre.

May Caroline's Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.
