Catherine (Kate) Tolan, nee Gray R.I.P Died 10th April 2024. (175 Tummery Road, Dromore Co. Tyrone BT78 3LW).
Kate’s children, Peter (Sarah), Kevin (Roslyn) and Brian (Maeve), and her extended family wish to express their sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported them, through their recent sad bereavement. Kate was a widely respected lady and dearly loved Mother, Mother-in-law, Grandmother, Aunt and Friend.

Sincere thanks to our dear relatives, friends and neighbours and work colleagues who helped us in so many ways and supported our family through the wake and funeral, we are blessed to have the love and support of you all and your kindness did not go unnoticed.
Thank you to everyone who called to the wake house. Thank you to those who sent food and helped with refreshments during the wake, those who sent Mass or Sympathy cards, messages, flowers, lined the funeral route, those who travelled a long distance to join us and to all who attended the Funeral Mass.

A special word of thanks to Canon Kevin Duffy, Canon John Mc Kenna, Canon Mc Gourty and Fr Padraig Mac Kenna for their spiritual support and the comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, and our singers Patrica, PJ, Neill, and Bernard Rogers who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.

Thank you to Claude McKervey Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and, to Mary Howe for the beautiful floral tributes, to John Noble for preparing Kate’s final resting place, and to Mahons Hotel for the most welcome meal after the burial.

We send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to all the medical professionals Kate encountered, especially the staff of Three Rivers Care Home, South West Acute Hospital, Ward 4 and 32, Altnagelvin Hospital, we are so very grateful for all your care, help and assistance.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Kate is loved and missed every day. May her gentle, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, Irvinestown on Sunday 12th May at 11.00am.

Our Lady pray for her.
