Cecil BROWNLEE

The family of the late Cecil Brownlee wish to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to those who sympathised and supported us during our recent bereavement.

We are deeply grateful to all who attended the wake and funeral, those who sent cards, telephoned, called at the home and gave donations in lieu of flowers to Tearfund or who helped in any way.

A special word of thanks to the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, the A&E department and the staff on 2 North in Craigavon Area Hospital. Thank you to the staff of the Orchard Family Practice, Portadown for their care for Cecil over the last number of years as well as the community respiratory team from Lurgan Hospital.

Our sincere thanks to Rev. Seamus Burke and Rev. Gordon Best for their pastoral care and support during Cecil’s illness as well as conducting the funeral service and the committal. Thanks also to the organist and pianist for the beautiful music during the service and the Newmills catering team for the refreshments after the funeral.

To the staff of Joseph Poots and Son Funeral Directors, Portadown - thank you for your professionalism and compassion throughout a difficult time.

A final word of thanks to Portadown Male Voice Choir of which Cecil was a member for 25 years - your singing during the funeral service encouraged and uplifted us all.

There is no way we could thank everyone individually, so we trust that this acknowledgement is accepted by all as a token of our sincere thanks.

Jean, Amy, Mark, Gemma and the wider family circle
