Acknowledgement
We, the family of the late Celine Carlin, wish to thank all those who supported us during the recent loss of our mother.
To everyone who called to the wake, attended the funeral, sent Mass or sympathy cards, sent flowers or remembered us in their prayers, your kindness brought us great comfort.
We are really grateful to our family and friends who provided food, refreshments and help throughout those days, especially the Cushendall crew. Your generosity and thoughtfulness though automatic, were so much appreciated.
We wish to thank the doctors, district nurses, carers and Marie Curie teams who supported our mother along with the palliative team who went above and beyond. We wish to extend huge thanks and gratitude to Dr. Emma Casey, nurse Sarah Frizzel and the front desk staff at Eglinton medical practice. You folks are very special and our mother thought the absolute world of you.
We also wish to extend our thanks to Fr Noel McDermott for such a special Requiem Mass and the musicians who added to the occasion. Our mother had a lot of friends from differing denominations all of whom remarked on the beauty of the requiem Mass.
Thanks also to the caterers at Slaughtmanus GAC for providing refreshments after the funeral.
We would also like to extend our thanks to each of our employers and colleagues for their understanding and support.
Finally, we are indebted to Kieran O’Brien and his team at W.J. O’Brien, for their professionalism, sensitivity and guidance throughout those days.
Celine'’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 30th November 2025 at 10am in St Mary's Church, Tamnaherin.
