Virginia, Alexia, Rebecca, Richard & Joshua and the entire family circle of the late Tony McClelland, 151 Mill Road, Annalong, wish to express our heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation especially to those who supported and assisted us during Tony’s illness and recent bereavement, your many acts of kindness has meant so much to us and we will be forever grateful.

We are deeply grateful to all our family, friends, neighbours, all who called to the house to share their lovely memories of Tony, brought food, sent Mass and Sympathy cards. To all those who attended the funeral and burial this brought us great comfort.

Our sincere thanks to the Doctors and Nurses of Causeway Surgery, Newcastle for all their care for Tony in his lifetime, to the Staff of the Ulster and Royal Victoria Hospitals for their care, dignity and compassion shown to Tony in his short illness.

We extend a special thanks to Father Colin Crossey, his Funeral Ministry Team, Rev William Bingham and assistant Ellis Hanna for their prayers, words of comfort and making Tony’s Funeral Mass and Grave side so meaningful.

To Aoife Grant we sincerely thank you for your beautiful music and singing which added so much to the service.

Grateful thanks to the Members of Newcastle Lifeboat for their guard of honour, to Sarah of Oldtown Flowers for the beautiful flowers and to Top Nosh catering team for providing refreshments in the Church Hall following the Burial.

Also, to Nicolas Doran Funeral Directors, for the compassionate and dignified way they carried out the funeral arrangements.

Grateful thanks to all who donated in lieu of Flowers to Life & Time.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation.

No words can ease our pain, but no loved one is ever truly lost, they live on in our hearts forever.
