Charles McGURK
The family of the late Charles McGurk wish to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who offered their sympathy and support during our recent heartfelt loss. To all those who attended Charlie’s wake and funeral, telephoned, sent mass cards and made condolence visits to his home.
We wish to express our thanks to Fr Paddy Hughes for officiating and his kind words at the Christmas Day Requiem mass. And thank you to Monsignor Curry for visiting and prayers at his wake. Our thanks to Justin McGurk and Patrick Slevin for the beautiful singing and music during the ceremony. Thank you to the family, friends and neighbourswho helped in the preparation and closure of the grave.
Our thanks and appreciation to all those who helped and cared for Charlie through his last years, his visitors, the wonderful care team who looked after him in his home, those who continued his care in Brooklands Home, Loy Medical Practice and the medical staff in Antrim and Altnagelvin hospitals.
We sincerely thank our kind neighbours, friends and family who helped with refreshments, facilitated parking and all who directed vehicles during the wake. Our thanks to Fox’s Corner Bar for providing meals for those who worked at the grave. Special thanks to Kevin Loughran for his support before, during and after Charlie’s wake and funeral.
