Charlie LAMBERTON
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT / MONTH’S MIND MASS
Charlie LAMBERTON
We, the daughter & family of the late Charlie Lamberton wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and kind support offered to us on the recent sad loss of our loving daddy, brother, uncle and cousin.
We would like to express our gratitude to the care and nursing staff at Oakleaves for the care and compassion they provided to Charlie over the past 18 months. We extend a special thanks to Orlagh, Orla, James, and Stephen for their support.
We offer our sincere and heartfelt thanks to our extended family, friends, neighbours and all who attended the wake, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, floral tributes and to all who provided food and help during the wake. A special thank you to Maureen Feeney.
We also wish to express our gratitude to all who helped to give Charlie a truly deserving send off. We are deeply touched by Don Bosco’s Football Club and Charlie’s old teammates, who formed a guard of honour outside the home and the church. A special thank you to Brian Kelly, Barry McCreadie, Donal O’Neill & Gerard Morrow.
We acknowledge with grateful thanks Fr Shaun Doherty for the beautiful requiem Mass and thoughtful homily, which captured Charlie perfectly, and for his and Fr Paul Farren’s spiritual attendance during the wake. Thanks also to Isobel and Erin for the most beautiful singing and music, and to all who participated in the celebration of the Mass.
A special thanks to John G and The Rocking Chair for providing refreshments after the funeral.
The dignity, respect and professional care in the handling of all the funeral arrangements by Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors was greatly appreciated. A special thank you to Kieran Dunne on the day of the funeral.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a small token of our family’s deep appreciation. A mass will also be offered up for everyone’s intentions.
With deepest gratitude, Charlie’s daughter Alex & the Lamberton Family.
Our Lady of Knock Pray for Him.
Charlie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated this Saturday 7th February at 7.30pm in St Eugene’s Cathedral.
Everyone welcome.
