The death has occurred of:
Charlie McKillion
Geraldine and the sons and daughters of the late Charlie McKillion extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who paid their respects, attended the wake and funeral, sent cards, flowers, messages of condolence, made donations, brought food and helped at the wake. Your kindness and support were a great comfort to us.
We are deeply grateful to our wider family, friends, neighbours and local businesses - Big Macs, BLT, Sandwich Supreme, Mark McGoldrick’s, Newell Stores and Cafe Culture - for their generosity in providing food and refreshments during the wake. We also thank those who provided the marquees, and Dungannon Clarkes and Dungannon Eoghan Ruadh Hurlers for their support.
A special word of thanks to Stewart’s Music Shop for the memorable tribute along the funeral route, which meant so much to our family.
We sincerely thank Fr. Hannigan for a beautiful Funeral Mass and for his prayers, comfort and support.
To Pat Casey, Patrick Bell and Brendan McGrath for the memorable night of music when Charlie was at home sick; and to Pat Treanor for the beautiful music at the Funeral Mass, we are hugely grateful.
Our thanks also go to the palliative care team, and to the cancer services at Craigavon Hospital and The City Hospital Belfast, for the care provided to Charlie.
Finally, sincere thanks to Paudge and Eoin at E Quinn & Sons Funeral Directors for their professional, caring and dignified handling of the funeral arrangements, and for their support and guidance throughout.
It is impossible to thank everyone individually, so please accept this as a token of our family’s deep appreciation for all the kindness and support shown to us.
Charlie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 28th August at 7.30pm in St Patrick’s Church, Dungannon.
Rest in peace Charlie. Thank you for the memories, the music, the laughter and the love you gave us all.
