Month's Mind Mass / Acknowledgement

Charlotte McCOOL

We, the family of the late Charlotte McCool, would like to thank everyone who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement.

For all who attended the wake, Requiem Mass and especially those who travelled to be with us.

Thank you to all the doctors, nurses and support staff at the North West Cancer Centre;
The Marie Curie staff who travelled, often in dangerous weather conditions, to provide overnight stays and comfort and care for Charlotte;

Father Daniel McFaul for his spiritual support to Charlotte and our family and for his heartfelt homily at the Requiem Mass, and our nephew Aidan and Anne Marie Hickey for the beautiful singing and music;

Doctor Paddy Doherty, his staff and district nurses for their immediate support, response and attention to all of Charlotte’s medical needs and concerns;

All the carers provided by NW Care, Glen Caring and Bryson Care.

Thank you also to Community Nurse Caroline from Foyle Hospice;

Bradley & McLaughlin for the sensitive and dignified manner in which they conducted the funeral.

A final thank you to all those who sent donations in lieu of flowers to Foyle Hospice and Marie Curie.

Please accept this acknowledgement on behalf of our family in appreciation of our gratitude for all the kindness, support and sympathy offered to us at this difficult and sad time.

Charlotte’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church, Creggan on Sunday 18 February at 12.15pm.
