ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
Ciaran Brolly, died 24th March 2026.
Ciaran’s wife Una and family circle, wish to express their sincere gratitude to all who offered sympathy, kindness and support during their recent bereavement. Ciaran was a much-loved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, friend and neighbour.
We thank those who attended the wake, funeral mass, joined via webcam, sent mass and sympathy cards, gave donations to the Foyle Hospice and Marie Curie, those who generously provided refreshments and who offered comfort and support. Thanks also to St. Brigid’s College for refreshments after the funeral mass and to the pupils who formed the guard of honour at the church.
We also extend sincere thanks to Dr Maeve Boyle, Dr Girish Shivishankar, Dr Conor Moran, their teams and all the medical staff and ancillary workers who cared for Ciaran during his time in hospital and more recently at home.
Special thanks are offered to Fr Joe Gormley for his spiritual care and friendship over the years and especially during Ciaran’s illness and death. Special thanks also to Fr Kevin Mulhern for praying with us during the wake and celebrating the Requiem Mass. We are also deeply grateful to Evy McGinley and Ryan McKenna for the beautiful music during the mass and all the members of Ciaran’s family who participated in the liturgy.
We further extend our sincere thanks to Bradley & McLaughlin Undertakers and their team for their kindness, professionalism and support throughout the wake and funeral.
It is impossible to thank everyone individually, but please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our appreciation for the prayers, compassion and sympathy shown by so many. Your presence and support have been a source of great comfort to our family.
Ciaran’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in Holy Family Church on Thursday 23rd April 2026 at 7.15pm.
