With deep sorrow, I remember Clare whose bright spirit and vibrant energy were taken from us far too soon.
Clare was a true original—endlessly adventurous, brilliantly witty, and a loyal friend. Whether embarking on a bold new journey or lighting up a room with her sharp humour and raucous laugh, she had a rare gift for making life feel larger, richer, and infinitely more fun. Friendship with Clare brought unforgettable memories, constant laughter, and an unwavering bond that will never fade.
Her absence leaves an irreplaceable void in our hearts, but the light, joy, adventure and wisdom she brought into our lives will stay with us forever. My deepest thoughts and love are with Clare’s family and all who loved her during this painful time. Rest in peace, dear friend.

In loving memory of the unforgettable Clare, who left us way too early.
I am absolutely heartbroken and devastated that distance keeps me in Stockholm, and that I never made it to Larne to see you. But you are completely in my heart. Thank you for the endless laughs on WhatsApp, the travel adventures, and for letting me be a proud "godparent" to your wee Larry the dog.
Your sharp wit and spot-on humor made the world a brighter place. I loved you dearly, and I will even miss how much you complained while suffering through the Eurovision Song Contest just because you knew I loved it—that was true friendship.
Sleep tight, my brilliant, witty friend. You are irreplaceable. Sending all my love to your close family and a massive hug to wee Larry the dog.
Magnus, Alma and I are raising a glass of Bushmills to you from Sweden, we love you so much!
Eva (Evis), Stockholm, Sweden.

Clare was a valued Volunteer Supervisor who gave so generously of her time, care and friendship to help rescue and rehome unfortunate companion animals.
We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Clare for everything she did for the Sanctuary, our animals, our shops and the people she worked alongside. Her contribution will always be remembered and greatly appreciated.
Rest in peace, Clare. You will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by us all.
