Family Acknowledgement for the Late Colum Hopkins

We, the family of the late Colum Hopkins, wish to express our appreciation and heartfelt thanks for the many expressions of sympathy and kindness shown to us following his peaceful passing on 8th August 2026.

We are grateful to our family, friends and neighbours for the love and support given to us during this difficult time.
Thank you to Martin Rooney and family for delivering food, and to all those who visited, sent Mass cards, letters and flowers to our family home.

Thanks to our GP, all Ambulance, A&E and SWAH medical teams, who cared for Colum in his final weeks. Also, sincere thanks to the District Nursing Team who visited him at home in the months beforehand. We are very grateful for the exceptional care, compassion and kindness you showed him during his illness.

Thanks to Paul of John McKeegan Undertakers for his professional, efficient and dignified manner in guiding us through the funeral arrangements.

Thanks to Father Raymond for his very personal Requiem Mass, to Colum’s granddaughter Danielle for the beautiful singing, and to Christopher Doherty for his accompaniment on the piano.

Thanks to all those who stood out on the route to the Cemetery.

Thanks to Joey and the team at the Enniskillen Hotel who provided refreshments after the funeral.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone who helped in any way individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.

Colum’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held on Saturday, 19th September at 6 p.m. in St Michael’s Church, Enniskillen.
