The death has occurred of:
Colum McConville
The family of the late Colum McConville wish to express their sincere appreciation to all those who offered their sympathy and support following their very sad loss. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our relatives, friends, neighbours, visiting priests and the wider community who attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass or sympathy cards, offered messages of comfort, or provided assistance in any way.
We would like to extend our thanks to Fr. Martin Kavanagh SMA, Fr. Brian Fitzpatrick and Deacon Eunan McCreesh for officiating at the beautiful Requiem Mass and to Fr. Colum Wright for his spiritual guidance. Our thanks also go to Mark Magee, Jonny Toman and Rosemary Kelly for enriching the Mass with their music and to Fionnuala, the Church sacristan and volunteers.
A special word of gratitude goes to the staff at William St. Surgery, Lurgan for their outstanding care and compassion shown to Colum and also to the district nursing team and Marie Curie who attended to Colum during his final days. Your kindness has been of great comfort to us during this difficult time.
We would also like to express our sincere thanks to McAlinden & Murtagh Funeral Directors for their support and guidance and for conducting the funeral arrangements in such a dignified and professional manner.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our profound gratitude.
Colum's Month’s Mind Mass will take place on Saturday 15th August at 10.30am in St. Paul’s Church, Lurgan.
