My friendship with Noel was through an interest in mechanical things - particularly Vintage Engines.
Noel was a skilled restorer as is evidenced by the projects he undertook and the quality of his work.
In later years due to ill health he was unable to participate fully in these activities but always retained an interest and loved to hear what was happening in the Northern Ireland Stationary Engine Club.
On behalf of the Club I would like to extend our sympathies to Esther, Austin and Richard and also our deepest condolences on their sad loss.
He will be sorely missed.
