I am so sorry to not have known of the passing of Noreen. Very belated sympathy to Noreen's family members. What a woman, a tower of strength, wit, courage and talent. She was a true friend to my mother when my brother Paul and I were growing up at 389 Ballysillan Road. Noreen became a treasured member of Shalom Poetry Group when I was the tutor. It was a great gift to meet her again, this time as a poet in her own right. Noreen was a great support to me and I had great respect for her. I am so grateful to have known her and valued her wit and wisdom and care. Not many like her.
