Tá pobal iomlán na scoile croíbhriste go bhfuil ‘Mamó’ Bernadette imithe ar shlí na fírinne. Tá baint nach beag aici leis an scoil le blianta beaga anuas agus bhí Bernadette ina cara mór againn ar fad. Bhunaigh sí Naiscoil Chois Locha agus thug sí bronntanas na Gaeilge do na céadta. Bhí sí dílis don teanga, don oideachas, don chultúr agus don óige. Cailliúint mhór atá ann don scoilphobal. Gael go smior. Nach iontach an oidhreacht atá fágtha ina diaidh do na glúnta atá le teacht. Ba mhaith le Gobharnóirí agus foireann na scoile comhbhrón ó chroí a ghabháil lena clann. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam Gaelach.

The Board of Governors, Principal, staff and pupils of St. Francis' Primary School and Bunscoil Naomh Proinsias deeply regret the death of their esteemed friend Bernadette. She was the founding member of Naiscoil Chois Locha which paved the way for Bunscoil Naomh Proinsias. For the past 25 years hundreds of young bilingual Gaels of our school community who have come through the Naíscoil and Bunscoil have walked the path she laid down for them. Her legacy lives on through the continued success of Bunscoil Naomh Proinsias and we will forever be in her debt. A True Gael.
Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to the O'Hagan family and wider family circle. May she rest in peace. St Francis Pray for her.
