It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone.
A part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
A million words won't bring you back, we know because we've tried,
neither will a million tears, we know because we've cried.
With everything to live for, and so much love to share,
only God will know, why he took you in His care.
