Latest Sympathy Notices

Now that everything has calmed down, and the big hullabaloo is over!

I would like to offer my sincerest sympathy to Ted‘s family on his passing, I was only 19 years of age when I met Ted, (I was a bartender in a bar Ted liked have a drink in with his friends at the time.

I hadn’t a clue who he was, however, he had a presence about him, a friend, a father figure, humble, dignified and an amazing way of talking to young people!

I have to admit, I admired him as much as I admired and loved my father, when I got to know him better. I know I could trust him with my life.

I never told a soul that I knew him because I respected his privacy and loving family life that he had with Eileen before she passed away!

He was the essence of leadership, and so articulate (during the peace process) in dealing with the biggest imperialist coloniser on the earth! The British Government.

Sorry, I didn’t get to the funeral Ted! I like to keep a low profile, as you did!

God Bless you Ted! I loved you

You have plenty of company up there now, BIK, Martin, Big Bob, Robert S, and my mucker Gerry Mc Donnell!

Enjoy Heaven I hope I make a Ted!

Marty (the barman)
