Latest Sympathy Notices

Susan, You don't know me but I attended Barry's funeral this morning and spoke briefly to Conor. I knew Barry's father, he taught at the Holy Child School with my mother.
I first met Barry when he was a houseman and I was SR in 5&6 in 1984.
The following year I went to Toronto when Barry, Amanda Shanks and Micheal Brerton took our house in Rosemary Park for the year.
Since then I have seen Barry semi regularly but I feel he was very influential in my son Johnny's career and for his help and guidance my family will always be grateful.
I didn't know that you were Richard Clarke's daughter until this morning I knew him and your uncle Stuart.
Please accept deepest sympathy from the McNamee family.
Johnny would have been present this morning if he was not presently working in London. Wednesday 02 July 2025 Peter, Deirdre and Johnny McNamee, Belfast

You were one of the first people I met when I started to study medicine in 1979. Little did I guess the heights of your profesional career would reach, but what I did recognise was the depth of your warmth and kindness coupled with a fabulous sense of humour. Your maturity and zest for knowledge was so apparent.
You will be so greatly missed.
My thoughts are with your lovely family. Saturday 28 June 2025 Kathryn Fleming
