Valerie, I remember Alan fondly from our days in the 1970's and 80's playing volleyball together as members of Valley Eagles Volleyball Club. Also as his role as manager of Northern Ireland Volleyball Men that competed in the inaugural Commonwealth Volleyball Championships in England 1981.
