There is a love that's precious and rare, that only a mother and daughter can share, we shared that love, Mum, you and I, from the day I was born until the day that you died.
You were always there when we needed you, no task too great or small,
with loving heart and willing hands, for us you did them all.
A golden heart stopped beating, two willing hands are still,
the one who did so much for us is resting at God's will.
Love you so much mummy xxx

Daughter Karen and Son-in-law Mark
We played like time would never end,
My Nanny—more than just a friend.
She’d chase the clouds, then paint the skies,
With stories, jokes, and apple pies.
We didn’t need a reason why—
We’d laugh until we’d nearly cry.
From kitchen dances, wild and free,
To secret snacks and cups of tea.
She taught me how to find delight
In muddy boots and starry night.
We’d sing off-key, we didn’t care—
Just joy and love were always there.
We’d chase the sun, we’d race the rain,
She’d make me smile through any pain.
A partner in my cheeky schemes,
The keeper of my brightest dreams.
Now though she’s gone, I still can hear
Her laughter ringing loud and clear.
She left me with a heart so wide—
And all the fun she kept inside.
Don’t worry Nanny, the joy will live on,
In every dusk, in every dawn.
I’ll laugh out loud, I’ll play, I’ll run—
For Nanny taught me life should be fun.
Love you so much, Nanny xoxox
