My heart is broken by the passing of my dear auntie Jacqui. She was such a special person—always full of love and kindness. She had a way of making everyone feel cared for, and I will always be grateful for the moments we shared, the laughter, and the guidance she gave me.
Though she is no longer with us, her love will stay with us all. I will miss her deeply, but I take comfort in knowing she is at peace.
Rest in peace, Auntie Jacqui. You will always be loved and never forgotten.

Stephen Gourley, Wife Jane and children Charlotte, Jack, Erin and Olivia. Perth Western Australia.
The leaders, boys and parents of 2nd Comber Boys’ Brigade are heartbroken by the sudden loss of Jacqui, our beloved Lieutenant in Charge of Anchor Boys. Jacqui always led with gentleness, compassion, and unwavering love. Her heart overflowed with kindness for every boy in her care, and her warmth and encouragement extended to all her fellow BB leaders. She nurtured each child with patience and joy, planting seeds of faith and character that continued to grow as they moved through the sections. Her interest in the boys never faded as they grew through the Company, and her legacy and impact will be felt for many years to come.
Jacqui was dedicated to the mission of the Boys' Brigade — to raise and inspire generations of Christ-like men, even from their earliest years. Her legacy is one of faith, love, and service.
She was deeply respected, dearly loved, and will be sorely missed. We give thanks for Jacqui’s life, her ministry, and the immeasurable love she poured into our BB family. May her memory be a blessing, and may we honour her by continuing the work she held so dear.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Jacqui’s husband Ian, her children Annie and Stewart, and her sisters Angeline and Sylvia. We pray that they may know the comfort and peace of God’s presence in the days ahead, and feel surrounded by the love of their extended BB family.
As we mourn, we hold fast to the comfort of Scripture: “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” – Matthew 5:4
