May he rest in peace. Sunday 26 October 2025 Hasan (On behalf of the Pret Team)

My heart is broken, I still can’t believe Ron is gone. I remember when we first met in London whist on a work trip. I was so happy for my friend Jennifer to find a kind man. The you came to the States, I couldn’t wait to show you how lazy Americans are. We took you to a drive through fast food restaurant, Taco Bell if I remember correctly. You were not interested in eating the best junk food ever. You looked disgusted when Jen and I ate in the car. You were there to install a security light over my front door so me and my family could be safe. You told me I needed a deck in my backyard and made it happen.
You shared your experience in Northern Ireland with me, something not learned in American schools, the real story. You touched my life, I will not forget that.
I can’t begin to imagine the hole left in the hearts of your beautiful children, you were their Da who showed them love and it shows.
Never forget, “It’s manly, but I like it too.”
My love to Jennifer, Nicholas, and Bianca. Saturday 25 October 2025 Kristin Peter, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

I was privileged to meet Ron — loved every second spent with him, his stories, his laughter, his big smile, and his natural love for people.
It was a real pleasure and an inspiration to know the man, the legend who brought beer tours to London.
Deepest sympathy to Jenifer and the children.
Love,
