We are remembering the Cairns family circle at this sad time of bereavement following the loss of Mabel, a much loved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, neighbour and friend.
Loving Heavenly Father, we know that life’s journey sometimes leads through dark valleys. Help us to remember that however dark that valley, the darkness does not hide us from you and it does not hide you from us. May we know that you are always sharing our burden. Help us to believe that the valley will not go on forever. That with you by our side we shall emerge from it into a greater light and a greater peace. Amen.
Let us remember before God all those who rejoice with us, but upon another shore and in a greater light, that multitude which no person can number, whose hope was in the Word made flesh, and with whom we for evermore are one. Amen.
