Latest Sympathy Notices

It was with great sadness that I just learned of the passing of Seamus MacCafferty. Though the knowledge that he passed peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his family, brings some small comfort, the loss of such a wonderful man leaves a profound mark on all who knew him.

Seamus was truly one of those rare souls whose warmth and goodness you feel the moment you're in his presence. The MacCafferty family has held a very special place in my heart for my entire life, as well as our family's.

To his beloved wife Joyce Ann, to Eliza Jane, James, Phelim and Patrick, to his cherished grandchildren Róisín, Séamie and Grace, and to his dear brothers and sisters Pat, Una, Blathnaid, Máire and all the wider family circle, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers in my recent learning of this sad news.

I am certain Seamus leaves behind him a legacy of love and may he rest in eternal peace, and may the memories of the wonderful man he was bring you all some comfort.
With my deepest and most heartfelt condolences, Saturday 07 March 2026 Yours in faith, Michael McGuinness & The McGuinness family

Thinking about the whole Mac Cafferty family at the loss of Seamus especially Joyce-Ann and his sons and daughters. And of course all about his brother and sisters. As part of the beautiful MacCafferty Singers I spent many years standing close to Seamus in the unforgettable Bass line singing in many many magical places.
Seamus and myself spent many happy years keeping Pat right in many ways. A very important time in my life over the years.
Seamus helped make me the person that I am.
God have mercy on his soul.

Ours is just a simple prayer,
God Bless and keep you in His care. Sunday 07 December 2025 Marie and Gerry Roddy Kylemore Park Derry
