Willie, otherwise known as Wilson in our family was a very important part of our lives.
Willie made everyone feel loved and important, especially those whom he cared for.
I remember meeting Willie in Champneys in London many years ago.
I was drawn to his personality and character and sense of humour straight away.
I saw Willie raise Luke and his love for him and Desiree had no bounds.
He was there when both our children were born and a constant presence throughout their lives.
We are heartbroken, we feel privileged to have been an important part of Willie’s life whom we loved deeply and always will.
You will never be forgotten Wilson.
You were one of a kind.
A true soldier, a very brave and a very kind one too .

Willie came a long way from a very tough childhood to make his way in the world, forging many strong friendships along the way.
Only those who knew him well appreciated why he was so deeply loved by so many.
