John was always in my awareness, in childhood, when he and my father, Charlie sang tenor in the church choir together; in manhood, when he and Marcella became firm friends of my mother after she was widowed; in age when Dorothy's health slowly declined; right up to her death their care and concern for her never wavered. Their loyalty was and still is most appreciated and I, together with my sisters, Patricia McDonald-Dunedin and Lynne Smith- Calgary offer our sincere condolences to Marcella and the Black family. Roy
