Latest Sympathy Notices

We were deeply saddened to hear the news about Declan, and our hearts go out to you all.

We worked with Declan on the railways in Manchester and had the pleasure of being part of his 60th birthday celebrations. Over the years we sadly lost touch after leaving Amey, but Declan always remained a very fond and important part of our memories from that time.

We have also shared the news with our former colleagues, many of whom worked closely with Declan over the years. He was a dear friend to all of us, and they were equally saddened to hear of his passing. They have asked us to pass on their condolences and to let you know that Declan is being fondly remembered by many.

If it would be welcome, we would love the opportunity to share a few small stories and memories of Declan with you, as he meant a great deal to us.

Please accept our heartfelt condolences. You are very much in our thoughts at this difficult time.

With sympathy and warmest wishes,
Marian and Brian Falconer Monday 19 January 2026 Marian and Brian Falconer, Belfast
