Our condolences to Tim, Michael, Grahame and Jim's wider family at this time. Jim was a thoughtful and great debater. We met him through his strong support for Amnesty International and his advocacy for human rights. Jim was always able to balance discussion with his strong support for his Catholic belief. As a keen walker, he helped organise and lead many fund raising walks, often taking us on scenic routes along the Shimna River and the Mournes. Jim was well known from his days as a teacher and many times when fund raising, former pupils would go up to him and express the fond memories of him as a teacher. We will remember Jim for his generosity, kindness and intellect. May he rest in peace. God Bless. Lilian and Philip God saw the road was getting rough. The hills were hard to climb. He gently closed his/her weary eyes, and whispered peace be thine.
