Latest Sympathy Notices

Please accept my deepest sympathy with John’s passing, who I am sure is “In Heavenly Love Abiding.”
I taught in Grosvenor for 26 years from September 1976 to June 2003. French, English, Junior German. As a Head of Year I enjoyed working with John - his desire to see the pupils get the very best from their time at Grosvenor; his wisdom, discernment and determination were invaluable in helping those of us in pastoral roles.
Mrs.Lockett, Vera, if I may be so bold, you were mentioned with fondness on many occasions - I suspect because John knew that he always had your support and backing as he gave himself fully to the demands of his Headship and Grosvenor most certainly benefitted from this academically and socially.

I regret I will not be able to attend the celebration of his life - my dear wife, Margaret, went home to be with the Lord Jesus, on Monday, 2nd March 2026.
I am discovering there is much to be done in the aftermath of this, which is demanding in so many different ways.
Rest assured I have fond memories of John and you and all your family are in my prayers. God bless.
