So very sad to hear this news this morning. Billy was my observer on my North Channel swim way back in 1988 and I couldn't have made it across without him and Quinton Nelson. He will be greatly missed. My sympathy goes out to Billy's family at this sad time.
God saw the road was getting rough. The hills were hard to climb.
He gently closed his weary eyes, and whispered peace be thine.
