I have known Brenda since our days in Ballyholme Primary School. We girls were so envious of her thick, wavy hair. In later life when my 2 year old daughter was diagnosed with type1 diabetes, Brenda got in touch and gave me a book and advice in how to deal with the situation. This was in 1982. I will be forever grateful to her. My sympathy to Myles Garth, Catherine and the family circle.
