I found the funeral notice(here) and wanted to let you know that I am so sorry it turned out like this. You're hit hardest. You have our dialog from his Whatsapp if you want to export it. I worked under Nigel when I went to work for ALMAC in 2010. He proved to be one the sharpest people I've ever met in the industry. He didn't tolerate "fools" very much. He seemed "on" all the time. After I quit, he tried a few times to recruit me again, but I'm too loose and the requirements and restrictions were too much. But we kept in contact via email every so often. He'd rant about something that the vendor should have been able to fix or the software company. But he always checked in or I did. I was able to come over for a visit, but he specified no more than 4 days. If I was 6 months older, I wouldn't have been able to keep up with his walking pace. May God have mercy on him. I have been praying for him for a few years now and will continue.
