Although it had been a long time since I last saw you, your passing has left a sadness that is difficult to put into words. There may have been years between us, but you were still my dad, and you will always carry a place in my heart.
You will be deeply missed, not only by me, but by your grandchildren and great-grandchildren too. They have lost someone who will always be a part of their family story and their memories.
Life may have taken us down different paths, but nothing can change the bond of family or the memories we hold.
