Mum and I were so sorry to hear about the passing of Eugene or Mr Martin as he will always be known to me. As a student at Ulidia l saw so many examples of how kind he was, and my mum and dad worked closely with him during the early days of the creation of the school. Mum and I will always remember Eugenes' kind words during the service for my dad, George, who was also a close friend, who highly respected him and valued his opinions.
Our thoughts are with Moyra, her children & grandchildren at this very sad time.

Eugene Gérard Martin, died peacefully at home. Beloved husband of Moyra. Devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. Will be sorely missed by all his family. You were always someone special, someone kind and true, you will never be forgotten, for we thought the world of you. To live in the hearts of those we loved is not to die.
