One of the last of a great clan, the Leonards of Kinglass. A lovely woman and my favorite Auntie. Like many of her family and generation, Bertha went through the hardships of her times, on top of which she suffered personal tragedies. Yet her resilience and faith carried her forward, and her sense of humour lifted the spirits of those around her. I still miss the gatherings at her home for Christmas or New Years, in the days when everyone had a drink in their hand and a song to sing (and none were allowed to speak while they sang it). Bless you Bertha, and my condolences to Barry, Justin, Fiona, Deirdre and Ann.
