Connor Magee Campbell
We, the family of Connor Magee Campbell, would like to express our deepest gratitude to all who sympathised with us on the devastating and sudden bereavement of our precious son, brother, grandson, great-grandson, nephew and friend.
To all of our extended family, friends and neighbours, we will be forever grateful to each of you for your support, help and kindness throughout the wake and help in navigating us through such an incredibly difficult time.
Thank you to Clonoe GAA club and Clonoe Community Centre for all they did throughout the wake and funeral.
Thank you to Lynches Spar, Springisland, Newell Stores, The Green Room, The Door step restaurant, Roost & Roux, The Kitch’n Catering, Vibe Café Lurgan, Annagher Filling Station, KC Devlin Mace, Bert's pizzas, uncle Sam's, Burger Burger, St. Vincent De Paul and all of the local businesses for providing food throughout the days of the wake.
We are deeply grateful to the large crowds of people who gathered for the day of Connor’s funeral, people who have sent mass cards, messages, flowers and for the beautiful tributes posted on social media demonstrating how well Connor was thought of which gives us some comfort knowing that Connor was loved not only by his family but by so many people.
We would like to thank all of the people and the paramedics who helped at the scene of the accident as well as the staff in the Royal Victoria Hospital. Thank you to Gill Print Dungannon for preparing the beautiful mass booklet.
Thank you to Canon Fee and to Fr John McCallion for all of their support and for a beautiful requiem mass.
Thank you to the Sacristan and to the Grave Digger, Gary Harte for preparing Connor’s final place of rest.
A heartfelt thank you to Margaret Anne Conlon for her beautiful singing, and all of her help with the selection of songs and to Grainne Salmon who played the harp. Special thanks to Daire Devlin who played the banjo instrumental which was a fitting tribute to Connor.
Thank you to St. Joseph’s College, Clonoe Boxing Club, Cookstown Boxing Club, Na Fianna GFC, IPower Ireland and Ogras Youth Club for their tributes and guard of honour.
We were very touched by the tributes from Clonoe Coalisland Comhaltas for Connor particularly taking time to remember him in their performance of Ar Éirinn Ní Neosainn Cé Hí at the Fleadh Cheoil, Belfast.
Lastly, to Patsy and Edel Taggart Funeral Director's for the compassionate and dignified manner in which you carried out the funeral arrangements and for going above and beyond to support us all through the entire process and ensure Connor’s send off was special.
As a family we are overwhelmed by the support from so many people.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a heartfelt expression of our appreciation to each and every one of you.
Connor’s month’s mind mass will take place in St.Patrick's Chapel, Clonoe at 7.30pm on 27th August.
